Overview
A standing order is a recurring order that is automatically scheduled and placed with a supplier on a specific delivery day each week. Once set up, the order repeats without you needing to place it manually each time.
You can create a standing order from the Ordermentum mobile app (iOS or Android) or from the Ordermentum website.
Before You Begin
Make sure you are logged in to your Ordermentum account.
Confirm that the supplier you want to order from offers recurring order scheduling.
Have the items you want to include in your standing order ready to add.
Create a Standing Order on the Mobile App (iOS & Android)
Select your supplier. From the app home screen, find and tap the name of the supplier you want to create a standing order with.
Open the Scheduled tab. On the supplier page, tap the Scheduled tab. This is where you manage and create scheduled orders for that supplier.
Choose a delivery day and create a new order. Find the day you want your standing order to recur. Tap New Order next to that day.
Add products. Tap Add Products to open the product selection screen. Browse the supplier's catalogue and add the items you want to your order.
Review and save. Check your order details on the checkout screen. When everything looks correct, tap Save to continue.
Select Standing Order. On the final screen, you are prompted to choose between Single Order or Standing Order. Select Standing Order to set this order to repeat automatically on the chosen day.
✔ Your standing order is now set up. It will appear in the Scheduled tab with the label Scheduled, confirming it will repeat automatically.
Create a Standing Order on the Web
Select your supplier. Log in to ordermentum.com and from the home page, select the supplier you want to place a standing order with.
Go to Scheduled Orders. In the left sidebar, select Scheduled Orders.
Select a delivery date. From the calendar view, select the date you want your standing order to begin. This date will be the first delivery date for your recurring order — all future deliveries will repeat from this day.
Choose Recurring Order. A pop-up will appear after selecting your delivery day. Select Recurring Order from the options shown.
Add items and confirm. Add the products you want to include in your standing order. When ready, select Create Recurring Order to save it.
✔ Your standing order is now active. You can view and manage it from the Scheduled Orders tab at any time.
Troubleshooting
I can't see the option for Standing Order (recurring) on the supplier page (app).
Not all suppliers offer recurring order scheduling. Check with the supplier directly, or contact Ordermentum support to confirm if scheduled ordering is available for that supplier.
I don't see available dates on the calendar (web).
Available delivery dates are set by the supplier. If no dates appear, the supplier may not have open delivery windows. Contact the supplier or Ordermentum support for help.
My standing order isn't showing as scheduled after saving.
Try refreshing the page or restarting the app. If the order still does not appear under the Scheduled tab, contact Ordermentum support with the supplier name and order details.

What is a standing order on Ordermentum?

Can I edit or cancel a standing order after it's created?

Can I create a standing order for multiple suppliers?
Yes. You can set up separate standing orders for each supplier as long as they offer it. Repeat the steps above for each supplier you want to create a recurring order with.
What is the difference between a single order and a standing order?
A single order is placed once for a chosen delivery date. A standing order repeats automatically on the same day each week until you edit or cancel it.
How do I know my standing order was set up correctly?
After saving, your order will appear in the Scheduled tab (app) or Scheduled Orders tab (web) with a Scheduled label, confirming the recurring order is active.
