How to: edit an order before cut-off time

Scheduled and one-off orders can be edited before the order cut-off time.

  1. Navigate to the Supplier whose order you would like to edit

  2. Navigate to Orders

  3. Select the Order you would like to edit

    • tip: editable orders have this icon

      and are blue

    • please note, in most cases you cannot edit orders that have passed cut-off

  4. Edit the products within the order as you desire

    • note: some products within the order might have a lead time that has locked the editing ability

    • on that note ^ you won't be able to add any products to an order if their lead time is greater than the delivery due date

  5. If on a schedule choose whether you are editing just that order, or the template itself

  6. Hit save and the order will save with an Edited state

Notes

  1. You can edit, re-edit, cancel, re-instate orders at any time before cut-off

  2. Sometimes, some products in an order are locked from editing due to their preparation lead times

  3. If you desire to edit an order after cut-off you will need to contact the supplier directly and they can help you out at their end. In rare cases, the supplier will let you do this through the system

Troubleshooting

Q: My order hasn't reached cut-off and I'm still not able to edit it? Why is this?

A: To edit one-off orders, your supplier has to turn that ability on for you. If you would like to edit an order but can't, please contact your supplier and ask them to turn it on in their order schedule settings.
