Understanding Order Types
You can edit both scheduled and one-off orders as long as you do so before the order cut-off time.
Here's a quick rundown of different order types and their statuses:
Manual Orders (One-Off): These are single orders you create yourself.
Placed (No Edits Allowed π)
Your order has been submitted, and the supplier has a "no edits" policy after placement.
Placed (Edits Allowed βοΈ)
Your order has been submitted, but you can still make changes until the cut-off time. Some suppliers may even allow edits for a short period after the cut-off.
Cancelled
The order has been cancelled. Once cancelled, they cannot be reinstated.
Note: One-off orders cannot be cancelled directly by customers; you must contact your supplier.
Standing Orders: These are template orders for recurring deliveries.
Scheduled
This is a template that hasn't been placed yet. It will be automatically submitted at the scheduled cut-off time, but you can edit the template until then.
Placed (Edits Allowed βοΈ)
This order was automatically placed by the system on your behalf. Just like a manual order, you can still edit it if the supplier allows.
Cancelled
This standing order was cancelled before it was placed. Unlike a one-off order, a cancelled standing order can be reinstated.

Pro-tip π€: Before and after saving, it's always good to review the changes you're going to make on the order to make sure everything's correct.
Troubleshooting & Important Notes
Notes
You can edit, re-edit, cancel, re-instate orders at any time before cut-off
Sometimes, some products in an order are locked from editing due to their preparation lead times
If you desire to edit an order after cut-off you will need to contact the supplier directly and they can help you out at their end. In rare cases, the supplier will let you do this through the system
Troubleshooting
Q: My order hasn't reached cut-off and I'm still not able to edit it? Why is this?
A: To edit one-off orders, your supplier has to turn that ability on for you. If you would like to edit an order but can't, please contact your supplier and ask them to turn it on in their order schedule settings. |
