You can customise your notification preferences in the Ordermentum app so you only receive the updates that matter to you—by supplier, and by channel (email, push, and SMS).
📱 This guide applies to both iOS and Android. Screenshots for each platform are included side-by-side.
1. Go to Settings
From the Home screen, tap the ⚙️ Settings icon in the top-right corner.

2. Tap on “Notification Settings”
Once you're in Settings, select Notification Settings from the menu.

3. Choose a Supplier
You’ll now see a list of all the suppliers you’re connected with.
Notification preferences are managed per supplier, so you can receive reminders or confirmations from some suppliers and not others.
Tap the name of a supplier to manage your preferences for that specific supplier.

4. Toggle Notifications On or Off
Each supplier has its own set of notification types you can control. Toggle these on or off based on your preferences.
The notification types are:
Push Notifications: Alerts sent directly to your device. These are ideal for order reminders and important updates.
Note: These settings only control transactional push notifications. To manage marketing push notifications (e.g. product updates or promotions), see the instructions below for updating your device settings.
SMS Reminders: Text message reminders.
Email Reminders: Email prompts before order cut-off times. Helpful if you rely on inbox reminders.
Order Confirmation/Invoice: These are sent after an order is placed, either by you or your supplier. You’ll only receive one version (confirmation or invoice), depending on your supplier’s preference. Disabling these notifications is not recommended.
Payment Notifications: You'll get notified whenever your saved payment method is charged.

6. Exit When You're Done
Once you’re happy with your settings, tap the Back button to return to the previous screen.
📧 Managing Marketing Emails
Your in-app notification settings won’t affect marketing or promotional emails.
To unsubscribe from marketing emails:
Open the most recent marketing email you received from Ordermentum.
Scroll to the bottom and click Unsubscribe.
Follow the prompts.
🔔 Note: Unsubscribing from one marketing or promotional email will unsubscribe you from all marketing emails sent by Ordermentum.
📩 You will still receive essential transactional emails—like order confirmations—even if you’ve unsubscribed from marketing emails.
⚙️ Adjust Notifications from Your Device (Optional)
Ordermentum may also send occasional marketing push notifications (e.g. new product releases or special offers). These cannot be turned off within the Ordermentum app—you’ll need to manage them from your device settings.
On iOS:
Go to Settings → Notifications → Ordermentum, then adjust preferences.

Note: This is the only way to disable marketing push notifications from Ordermentum.
