How to manage your notifications for emails you receive from Ordermentum

As a supplier using Ordermentum, you may receive various email notifications to keep you informed about your orders, payments, and system updates. If you prefer not to receive these notifications, you can easily customise your preferences within your User Settings.


Steps to Disable or Manage Email Notifications

Step 1: Log in to Ordermentum

Step 2: Access User Settings

  • Click on your profile icon located in the top right corner, next to the search bar.

  • From the dropdown menu, select "User Settings".

Step 3: Select Your Supplier Account

  • In the User Settings page, you'll see a list of accounts under 'For suppliers'.

  • Choose your supplier account to proceed.

Step 4: Customise Your Notifications

  • Here, you'll find a list of notifications that you can enable or disable based on your preferences. Simply uncheck the notifications you no longer wish to receive.


Notification Options

  • Delivery Information Change

    Receive an email when a customer updates their delivery address.

    This helps you:

    • Avoid sending orders to outdated addresses

    • Plan deliveries more accurately


  • First Order (Growth Engine only)
    A notification will be sent via email when a new customer places their very first order with you. This feature only works for Growth Engine (GE) suppliers for now.


  • Inbox Messages
    Receive email notifications for new messages in your Ordermentum inbox.

    This ensures you don’t miss important communication from customers or suppliers.

  • New Sales Order Notification (Marketplace Orders Only)
    Get notified when you receive a new marketplace order.

    This applies to Growth Engine (GE) suppliers using marketplace features.


  • Payment Failure
    Receive an email whenever a payment fails.

    This allows you to:

    • Follow up quickly with customers

    • Prevent delays in order processing


  • Remittance Advice
    Receive an email for each settlement payout.

    This includes:

    • Which orders were paid

    • Associated invoices


  • Order Notifications
    Get an email notification for every new order you receive. You will either receive a copy of the invoice or order confirmation, depending on your trading terms. Settings > Trading terms

  • If the invoice is selected, this is what the customer will receive, and you'll also receive a copy of that

  • If order confirmation, then that's what you and the customer will receive.


  • System Alerts
    Receive important system updates, including:

    • Payment successes

    • Payment failures

    • Standing order reports

    • Processed refunds for customers

Important Notes:

  • Notification settings are user-specific

  • Changes you make will only apply to your account, not other users in your supplier account


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customise notifications for my whole team?

No. Notification settings are managed per user. Each team member must update their own preferences.

Do I need all notifications enabled?

No. You can choose only the notifications relevant to your role.

Are marketplace notifications available to all suppliers?

No. Some notifications (like First Order and Marketplace Orders) are only available for Growth Engine (GE) suppliers.
