Ordermentum allows you to generate PDF box labels for shipping items to customers, making the shipping process more efficient and organised. This guide will walk you through enabling box labels, customising label settings, and answering common questions.

Enabling Box Labels

To enable the Box Labels feature in Ordermentum:

  1. Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings > Features > Exports.

  2. Enable Box Labels: Select the Box Labels option and press "Save changes".

Once enabled, the Box Labels option will be available in the "Print" menu for both bulk printing and individual order printing. This feature makes it easy to print labels directly from the order page.

Customising Label Quantity

If you need to print more than one box label per order, you can customise the number of labels generated:

  1. Go to the Order Details Page: Open the specific order you want to customise.

  2. Set the Number of Labels: Adjust the number of box labels to be printed for that order.

  3. Save Changes: The updated number of labels will be automatically used when printing from both the order page and the order list menu.


Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the PDF?
The default label size is 10.2 cm x 15.2 cm (4" x 6"). If you need a different size to fit your label printer, please contact our support team at support@ordermentum.com for customisation options.

Can I add additional fields or change the design of the label?
Yes, additional fields can be added, and minor design changes can be made to the labels. For customisations, please reach out to us at support@ordermentum.com.

Where does the QR code on the label go if it is scanned?

  • For Venues: Scanning the QR code will take them to the order history, where they can mark the order as received or report any issues via chat.

  • For Suppliers: Scanning the QR code will direct them to the order details page, allowing them to mark the order as delivered, make changes, and charge the payment method as needed.

Can I print from the order list menu if I change the number of boxes?
Yes, after saving the number of boxes on an order, selecting and printing multiple labels from the order list menu will automatically print the specified quantity.
