This guide will walk you through the process of creating products in Ordermentum.
You'll learn how to input essential product details, manage categories, set pricing, and add images to ensure your products are properly configured and presented to your customers.

Adding Products Manually
If you prefer to add products individually, follow these steps:
Step 1: Add Product
Click on "Add Product" in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Enter Product Details
Enter your product details, including the Name and Description. Assign the product to the most relevant categories, as this information will be displayed to customers browsing your products.
Enabled: If ON, the product will be visible to your customers and available for purchase.
In stock: If the product is out of stock, it will be visible but not orderable by customers.
Step 3: Set Pricing
Enter the base price without GST. If the product incurs GST, you can "Apply GST" to the base price, which will affect the display and sale price shown to customers.
Step 4: Manage Visibility
You can select your Visibility Groups here.

Step 5: Add Cost of Goods
If you know the cost of producing your product, you can add it here. Ordermentum will then provide Gross Profit reporting by customer and product on a scheduled basis.
Step 6: Upload Product Images
Good product images can significantly increase conversion rates. To upload an image:
Hover over the image placeholder (top right-hand side) on the product page.
Either upload a new image or select one you’ve previously uploaded.
Recommended image size: 350px X 350px
After uploading, adjust the image to fit within the red box, then crop and save it. This image will be available for reuse across multiple products.

Ordermentum offers advanced settings for customising how and when a product can be ordered.

Importing Products by Bulk Import
