Learn how to enable surcharging in Ordermentum to apply additional fees for payments made with VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, and Direct Debit. This feature allows you to charge an additional % for payment processing costs.

1. Navigating to Surcharging Settings
To enable surcharging:
Go to Settings > Features > Surcharging.
Switch the Surcharging feature on.
2. Setting Surcharge Percentages
Once surcharging is enabled:
Navigate to Settings > Payments.
You will see a new section labeled Surcharging.
In this section, you can set the surcharge percentage for:
VISA
Mastercard
AMEX
Direct Debit
3. Displaying Surcharges on Invoices
If you would like the surcharge amounts to be displayed on your invoices so it is shown above the Total amount.
