The Credit Notes Dashboard provides an in-depth view of all credit note activities, allowing you to monitor total values, track credit notes by product and customer, and understand the status of each credit note.

Table of Contents:

Filter Options in the Credit Notes Dashboard

The Credit Notes Dashboard includes several filters to help you refine the data you’re viewing, such as date ranges, account manager, region, and GST settings. By applying these filters, you can drill in further to the data you want to report on.

For a detailed explanation of each filter and how to use them, click here.

Overview of Credit Note Metrics

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see three key metrics:

  • Total Credit Notes Value: The total value of all credit notes issued during the selected period.

  • Credit Notes: The number of credit notes issued.

  • Average Credit Note Value: The average value of each credit note issued.

These metrics provide a quick overview of your credit note activity and help you assess the volume and value of credits being issued.

Credit Notes by Product

This table provides a breakdown of credit notes by product, allowing you to see which products are generating the most credit activity. Key columns include:

  • Product Name: The name of the product that has a credit note issued.

  • SKU: The SKU associated with the product.

  • Sum Quantity: The number of items that were credited.

  • Sum Total: The total credit value issued for each product.

This section is useful for identifying trends in product-related credit notes and determining which products may need further review or management.

Credit Notes by Customers

This table shows credit note activity by customer, allowing you to track which customers are receiving credits and the total value of those credits. The table includes:

  • Trading Name: The customer’s trading name.

  • Credit Notes: The number of credit notes issued to the customer.

  • Subtotal Average, Total Sum: A detailed breakdown of the credit values associated with each customer.

Monitoring this section can help you identify customers who frequently require credits and may need special attention or process adjustments.

Credit Note Value and Count

This section displays a bar chart and line graph that show the total value and count of credit notes issued over time. The chart is broken down by week and provides a visual representation of both the total sum of credits and the number of credit notes:

  • The bars represent the number of credit notes issued.

  • The line represents the total credit value.

This view allows you to track trends in credit notes over the selected period and identify any spikes or drops in credit activity.

Credit Notes by Status

The pie chart shows the status of credit notes, helping you keep track of whether credits are:

  • Applied: Credits that have been applied and settled.

  • Not Applicable: Credits that are not yet applicable.

  • Issued: Credits that have been issued but not yet applied.

This is a useful tool for understanding where credits stand in the process and managing any outstanding credit issues.
