Updated over a week ago

Filters in Ordermentum Insights give you the flexibility to drill down into your data and uncover key trends and insights that matter most to your business. Here's a step-by-step guide to understanding and using the filters available in our various dashboards.

Table of Contents:

1. Date Filters

The date filters allow you to view data over specific timeframes or compare different periods. There are two key date-related filters:

  • Placed On: This filter helps you narrow down data based on when orders were placed. You can select from options like:

    • is any time – to show all available data.

    • in the past 28 days – to see only orders placed in the last 28 days.

    • before or after a certain date – for more custom filtering.

  • Compare To: Use this filter to compare your selected date range to another period. Options include:

    • Previous Year

    • Previous Quarter

    • Previous Month

    • Previous Week

    • Previous Day

    • Previous Period – to compare against your last selected custom range.

2. Date Selector

The Date Selector filter allows you to choose how the data is grouped for display. You can select to break down the data by:

  • Date – view specific days.

  • Week – summarise data by week.

  • Month – summarise data by month.

  • Fiscal Quarter or Fiscal Year – perfect for tracking performance over financial reporting periods.

3. Account Manager Filter

This filter lets you view data based on the Account Manager assigned to the order. It's a handy way to see which account managers are driving sales and customer activity. You can select:

  • is any value – to view data for all account managers.

  • Specific account managers – to focus on the performance of individual team members.

4. Region Filter

With the Region filter, you can focus on data related to specific geographical areas. This is especially useful for identifying trends and sales performance in different regions or locations. Similar to the account manager filter, you can either choose is any value or select a specific region.

5. GST Filter

The GST filter allows you to toggle between viewing your sales data inclusive or exclusive of GST. This can be important when reviewing sales figures for reporting purposes. The options are:

  • INC. GST – includes GST in the sales totals.

  • EX. GST – excludes GST from the totals.
