QR Codes on Delivery Slips

Our Delivery Slip document now includes a QR Code, which provides your customer with instant, live access to their order.

To print a Delivery Slip go to your Orders page and select the orders that you wish to print the Slips for, and then Print > Delivery Slip. *

*If you do not see an option to print a Delivery Slip, refer to Settings > Features and then scroll down to Exports. Make Sure that 'Delivery Slip (PDF)' is select under Order Exports.

How the QR Code works:

  • The QR Code appears on the printed Delivery Slip (PDF)

  • When scanned, the QR code will attempt to open a URL on the device and follows this logic when the user is logged in to Ordermentum:

    • If device has the Ordermentum app (iOS or Android) the App will open and take the user straight to the order details page

    • If the device does not have the App, the user will be taken to the order details page within the device's browser

    • If the user is a supplier user it will redirect to the OM Supplier Experience

    • If the use is not a supplier or a retailer on the venue associated with the QR code i.e. your customer does not have access to order from that venue, they will be able to “request to join".

    • If user is not logged in at all, they will be sent to ‘Create an Account’ on OM or to log in.

FAQs

  1. What if I'm a supplier user, and I scan the QR code?
You will be directed to the order in the Ordermentum supplier experience. This may be useful for your drivers as they check the order online, or even make changes, while making the delivery

  2. What if the person scanning is not an active user in the system? If your customer does not have access to the venue on Ordermentum i.e. they have not been set up as a user, they will be able to "request to join" the venue

Their request will then be sent for approval to other venue users AND to you (their supplier). As soon as an 'Approver' accepts the request, the venue user will have access to the venue.
