Overview Metrics

At the top of the dashboard, you'll find a summary of your key performance indicators (KPIs):

๐Ÿ’ฐ Sales Total โ€“ The total sales value for the selected date range and filters.

๐Ÿ›’ Average Order Value โ€“ The average value of each order.

Sales Performance

The Sales Performance chart tracks your sales over time.

The chart displays:

  • Total Sales

  • Order Date (grouped by day, week, month, quarter, or year)

  • A trend line showing overall sales direction

Use this chart to identify seasonal trends, sales growth, or changes in customer demand.

Top Products by SKU

The Top Products by SKU tables highlight your best-performing products over two reporting periods:

  • Last 30 Days โ€“ Shows your top-performing products based on recent sales activity.

Each table includes:

  • Spot emerging best sellers

  • Recognise seasonal demand

  • Understand changes in customer purchasing behaviour

Use this section to monitor product performance and identify popular items within this specific timeframe.

Product Category Penetration

This chart shows customer engagement across your product categories.

For each category, you'll see:

  • Customers โ€” the number of unique customers purchasing from that category

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are my dashboard numbers different after changing a filter?

All charts and metrics update based on the filters you've selected. Changing the date range, GST setting, customer, or region will affect the data displayed.

What's the difference between the two Top Products tables?

The 30โ€“60 Days table highlights medium-term product performance, while the Last 30 Days table focuses on recent sales trends.

Comparing both views can help identify products that are consistently performing well or gaining popularity.

Can I export the data?

Yes. Most Insights dashboards allow you to download or export data for further analysis.

Why don't the Top Products by SKU numbers update when I change the date range?

The Top Products by SKU tables (Last 30 Days and 30โ€“60 Days) are based on fixed time periods and do not update when you change the date range filter. Only the Sales Performance chart will reflect your selected date range. To view product performance for a specific date range, use the Sales by Products table further down the dashboard.

How do I find my most frequently ordered or purchased products?

Go to Insights โ†’ Customer Profile, then scroll down to the Sales by Products table. This table shows detailed product sales data including sales quantity, total product sales, maximum and minimum values, average sales, and percentage of total sales. You can also download this data in CSV or Excel format for further analysis.

How can I compare my sales performance across different time periods?

Use the Order Date filter to set your desired date range, and the Sales Performance chart will update to show sales data for that period. To compare two periods, you can download the data for each date range separately using the download option in the top-right corner of the chart or tables.
