Ordermentum uses an external Insights tool that requires authentication through Ordermentum itself. There are certain browser settings and extension that can block that functionality.
Error Code 401: "You are not authenticated to view this page"
1. Go to the following website. Do not log into this website - this will trigger the process of adding the right data to your browser.
2. Close that page and go back into Ordermentum and refresh your page on the “Insights” menu.
Browser Specific Troubleshooting for the 401 Error
Chrome:
1. Make sure you're not in private/Incognito mode
2. Go to the three Dots in the top right corner
3. Select Settings
4. Scroll down and click on Advanced for more options to drop down
5. Scroll down and click on Site settings
6. Select Cookies and site data
7. In Allow press “add”
8. Enter https://ordermentum.au.looker.com/ in the text box.
9. Go back to Order and load the insights page
10. Refresh your Browser - Control + Shift (cmd on Mac) + R
Safari on Mac:
1. Go to Preference
2. Select Privacy
3. Disable "prevent cross-site tracking"
4. Close the tab and refresh the page for Insights refresh your Browser CMD + R
OR
1. Go to Preference
2. Advanced
3. Tick "Show Develop Menu in the menu bar"
4. A new menu will appear in the top bar called "Develop"
5. In the Develop Menu and Press "Disable Cross-Origin Restrictions"
6. Refresh your Browser CMD + R
Safari on iOS:
1. To go Settings
2. Find Safari in the Settings menu
3. Scroll down and turn off "Prevent Cross Site Tracking"
4. Refresh your Browser
Firefox:
1. Go to Settings/Preference
2. Select Privacy and Security
3. Ensure "Standard" is selected
4. Refresh your Browser - Control + Shift (cmd on Mac) + R
