Overview
Ordermentum Pro is a new, optional upgrade for venues that want to go further than the free ordering, invoicing, and payments they already enjoy on Ordermentum.
It helps venues improve their profitability with advanced tools like unlimited accounting integrations, ordering with off-platform suppliers, order approvals, and spend insights, all in the same place they already trade with you.
Importantly, nothing changes for suppliers and nothing changes for venues who don’t upgrade. Ordering, invoicing, and payments on Ordermentum remain free and unlimited forever.
Why we introduced Pro
A growing number of venues use Ordermentum to order from multiple suppliers, and many ask us how else we can help make their lives easier. As a result, we’ve been investing in advanced features beyond ordering, invoicing and payments to help venues streamline their operations and build more sustainable businesses.
These features include things like integrating their accounting systems, insights into their spend across all suppliers, and better approvals/controls. We have seen thousands of venues start using these features and have heard great feedback about the time and cost savings they bring.
However, these tools carry real costs for us to build and maintain, including fees charged by accounting software providers like Xero, MYOB Business, and QuickBooks Online.
Rather than increase supplier fees, we’ve introduced a modest $49/month optional subscription for venues that use and value these advanced tools. This keeps the core Ordermentum experience free for everyone, while allowing us to keep investing in the platform and features that benefit both sides of the network.
What stays free
The core Ordermentum experience remains free and unlimited for all venues:
Ordering from suppliers
Receiving and viewing invoices
Making payments (via card or direct debit)
These are the same features suppliers already pay for through their existing Ordermentum fees.
What’s included in Pro
Venues who choose to upgrade to Ordermentum Pro ($49/month) unlock advanced features that help them manage costs, simplify bookkeeping, and stay profitable:
Unlimited accounting integrations for invoice syncing (choose between Xero, MYOB Business, QuickBooks Online)
External invoice uploads - track all supplier spend in one place, even from suppliers outside Ordermentum
Spend insights - see true cost of goods and pricing trends over time
Order approvals and team workflows - control who can place and approve orders
“Order From Anyone” - order from all suppliers, even those not yet on Ordermentum

What to say if a venue asks:
Q: “Is Ordermentum now charging venues?”
A:Ordermentum will always be free for venues to order from, receive invoices, and make payments. They have simply added an optional upgrade for those who want extra tools like accounting integrations and spend insights.
Q: “Why are you charging for Xero uploads?”
A:These integrations have ongoing costs to maintain, including fees from Xero and others. The $49 Pro plan covers those costs and includes several other features to help venues trade smarter.
Q: “Will I be cut off if they don’t pay?”
A:No. Ordering, invoicing, and payments will continue to work exactly as they do today. The only difference is that invoice syncing via accounting integrations will be limited to 30 invoices per month for free users.
Q: “Why wasn’t I told earlier?”
A:Ordermentum is rolling out Pro gradually so they can support venues and suppliers smoothly through the change. You’ll see more information over the coming weeks, and nothing changes for your existing trading relationships.

If a venue reaches out to you with questions or concerns about Pro, you can:
Reassure them that nothing changes for ordering, invoicing, or payments. Those remain free.
