How to Edit User Information in Ordermentum

This guide will walk you through the steps to edit user details in Ordermentum, including updating personal information, changing security settings, and enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Follow these instructions to ensure your profile remains up-to-date and secure.

1. Accessing User Settings

To edit your user details in Ordermentum, follow these steps:

  1. Select the profile icon located in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Navigate to User Settings.


2. Changing User Details

If you need to update your First Name, Last Name, or Phone Number, you can do this in the User Details tab within User Settings.

3. Updating Security Settings

Ordermentum allows you to change your security settings, including your email address, password, and the option to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Changing Email Address

  1. In the Security menu, select Change Email Address.

  2. Click the Change Email Address button, and a text box will appear.

  3. Enter your new email address in the provided field.

  4. You will receive an email with a verification button. Follow the instructions to confirm the change.

Note: If you have Multi Factor Authentication enabled - you will need to enter your MFA code before you can trigger the change.

Change Password

To change your password, select the Change Password option and you will need to enter your current login password and then enter the new password (and enter it again to verify it to change it)

Enable Multi Factor Authentication

To further secure your account, you can enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) through the Security menu. This adds an extra layer of protection to your login process.

  1. Go to the Multi-Factor Authentication section in the Security menu.

  2. You will be prompted to choose your preferred security method:

    • Authenticator App (Recommended): Receive secure verification codes using a free authenticator app.

    • SMS: Receive verification codes straight to your mobile phone number.

    • Email: Receive secure verification codes straight to your email address.

  3. After selecting your preferred method, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Once MFA is enabled, you will be required to enter a unique security code to log in, which is generated by the selected method.

Troubleshooting MFA Issues

If you encounter any issues while setting up or using Multi-Factor Authentication, or if you are having trouble accessing the device you use for MFA, you can:

  • You can also change the authentication method or disable MFA entirely by accessing the Multi-Factor Authentication settings and selecting the Change Method or Disable options.
