Suppliers using Ordermentum’s Integrator-based integrations now have more control when something doesn’t sync correctly. You can now retry a sync instantly or clear items you no longer want to action — all without needing Support.
Note: These actions only apply to integrations built on Ordermentum’s integrations framework (e.g. NetSuite, MYOB Advanced, Unleashed, QuickBooks).
They do not apply to Xero.

🛠️ How the Two Actions Work
1. Resync
What it does
Retries the sync immediately — the same as if you opened the record and hit Save, but without needing to make changes.
When to use it
Use Resync when:
You’ve fixed the issue in the connected system (e.g. missing SKU, customer ID, item code, or configuration).
You want to retry a failed sync without editing the document again.
What happens next
The sync runs straight away.
If successful → the status changes to Success and the Resync button disappears.
If it fails → the item stays in Needs Action, showing the latest error details.
2. Mark as Resolved
What it does
Removes the record from the Needs Action list so it no longer appears as something requiring attention.
When to use it
The sync doesn’t actually need to happen (e.g. a test order, manually created invoice, or something handled directly in your ERP).
The error has already been dealt with and you want to keep your list tidy.
What happens next
The item disappears from Needs Action straight away.
This action is permanent — you can’t undo it or resync the same record unless a new sync event occurs (e.g. editing and saving the order).
The order/invoice will show Marked as Resolved in its sync status.
📍 Where to Find Resync & Mark as Resolved
A. Sync Status (inside the Order or Invoice)
When a sync fails, you’ll see:
The error message
A Resync button
A View log option
If it’s already been cleared, you’ll see Marked as Resolved instead.
B. Logs Tab
Shows all historical sync attempts for that order or invoice.
Each failed attempt has a Resync option under the “…” menu
Mark as Resolved is not available here
C. Needs Action Tab
This is your main list of items that require attention.
From the “…” menu, you can:
Resync
Mark as Resolved
🔍 What Happens After Each Action
Action | What it does | Can it be undone? | Where you’ll see it |
Resync | Immediately retries the sync for that record (order, invoice, stock or auto-rec) | ❌ No | Status updates automatically |
Mark as Resolved | Removes the item from Needs Action and updates its sync status | ❌ No | Order/Invoice shows Marked as Resolved |
❓ FAQs
Does this work for Xero?
No. Xero uses a different integration approach and these actions won’t appear.
What can I resync?
Orders, invoices, stock syncs, and auto-rec jobs.
Note that auto-rec resyncs won’t reapply customer-level payments to invoices.
Where can I use Resync?
In three places: Sync Status, Logs, and Needs Action.
All three perform the same action.
Is there a way to bulk resync or resync multiple records?
Bulk resyncing or resyncing multiple records at once is currently not supported. We recommend using the Logs tab if you have multiple records to sync you can easily see which records need to be resynced.
What’s the difference between Resync and editing a record?
Both will trigger a sync — Resync just lets you retry instantly without opening or saving the document.
Can I undo Mark as Resolved?
No. Once resolved, that specific record won’t appear again unless a brand-new sync event fails.
Is there a way to "Mark as Resolved" multiple records?
There is currently no way to Mark as Resolved multiple records.
Does Mark as Resolved stop future syncing?
No. It only applies to that specific record. All future syncs continue as normal.
Can I resync something after marking it resolved?
No — unless you create a new sync event by editing and saving the record.
Can I resync a successfully synced order or invoice?
Yes — you can do this from the Logs tab.
