Use Global Search to quickly find Customers, Orders, Invoices and Products across Ordermentum.

Global Search in Ordermentum is a powerful tool that allows you to quickly locate and navigate to any Customer, Order, Invoice, Credit Note, or Product from anywhere within the app.

By simply entering relevant details in the search field, you can efficiently find exactly what you need without the hassle of browsing through multiple sections.

This guide will walk you through the different ways to use Global Search, including the types of information you can search for and some handy keyboard shortcuts to make your search process even faster.


Access Global Search

You can access Global Search by selecting the search box in the top right hand corner.


How to Use Global Search

Global Search can be used to locate various records in Ordermentum by entering specific details into the search field at the top right of your browser.

Here’s how you can search for different types of information:

  • Customers:

    • Search by Customer Name: Enter the full or partial name of the customer to find their records quickly.

  • Orders and Invoices:

    • Search by Invoice Number: Enter the invoice number to locate the associated invoice.

    • Search by Order Number: Enter the order number to find the specific order.

    • Search by Trading Name: Enter the trading name of the customer or supplier to pull up related orders or invoices.

  • Credit Notes:

    • Search by Credit Note Number: Enter the credit note number to find the specific credit note.

  • Products:

    • Search by Product Name: Type in the name of the product to find it in your records.

    • Search by SKU: Enter the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) to quickly locate a product.
